Center for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice
Black mothers are three to four times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than their white counterparts. The center seeks to protect the Black birthing experience by advocating for quality, equitable, and respectful care in childbirth.

Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute
Tufts CTSI accelerates translation of research into clinical use, medical practice, and health policy by connecting people to research resources, consultation, and education, and by fostering collaboration with scholars of all disciplines and with community members, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of the public.

Food is Medicine Institute
A university-wide collaborative effort based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, the institute brings together experts from across disciplines with other local and national collaborators to advance food is medicine research, training, patient care, and community and policy engagement.

Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging
Supported by the Agricultural Research Service, the HNRCA is the largest research institution in the world devoted to investigating the relationship between nutrition and aging.

IRLI supports a community of scholars dedicated to education research and integrated into the teaching and learning that takes places across Tufts’ schools, departments, and programs.

Data Intensive Study Center
DISC enables excellence in data science scholarship and education at Tufts. Data sciences enable transformative research in many disciplines. However, initiating and sustaining such work can be difficult and needs partners and expertise that may be difficult to find. Through funding, training, fellowships, and resources, DISC addresses these challenges to ensure the high quality education and research.

An interdisciplinary center for excellence working to democratize the scientific building blocks of cultivated meat, establish a pipeline of talent and expertise, and foster public trust in this novel technology
